Audio Documentary: 2021 #8M Women's March in Juarez
For my audio production class at El Paso Community College, I produced a documentary in English and Spanish about the Women's March in Juarez during International Women's Day on March 8, 2021. It highlights the increased rates of domestic violence in Mexico during the pandemic, the case of a university professor who was mistreated by her partner during a live Zoom class and the president's comments diminishing the issue.
During my Spring 2021 semester at El Paso Community College, I produced a podcast in collaboration with El Paso Community College's Radio Station Pulse Radio that I decided to call “You Are What You Watch.” Its purpose was to analyze and question how content affect media consumers.
Welcome to "You Are What You Watch." In this episode, Nicole tries to record at 4 a.m. with a low-quality microphone because it is the only time her family is in silence. She explores how the pandemic caused streaming services subscriptions to skyrocket and how the content people watch affects them.
Professional Global Outreach
